Step 12 - Cut the holes and install
the cups
Once you have completed the mending of your seams, the next stage will
require cutting holes so you can install the cup. To enhance precision
of your cut, use a carpet cutting tool. Begin by cutting a small "X"
shape over the hole. Carefully follow the inside of the sleeve with your
cutting tool until you have completed the hole. Insert the cup and firmly
fasten it to the sleeve with a strong adhesive such as an epoxy, which
dries quickly. Wait until the adhesive is completely dry before placing
the flag into the cup.
